Brian E. Syester, 66, of Farmersburg, IN passed away at 6:55 P.M. Friday, December 24, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

He was born July 3, 1955 in Terre Haute, IN to Joe Syester and Roberta (Rogers) Syester.

Survivors include his son, Geoff Syester (Jennifer) of Farmersburg, IN; grandchildren, Riley Jo Syester, Brian Benjamin Syester; sister, Candice Mahurin (Steve) of Farmersburg, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Dennis Syester, David Syester, Mike Syester.

Brian graduated North Central High School Class of 1974. He worked as a meat cutter for several markets, and worked as a meat inspector for the state of Indiana. Brian liked art and enjoyed painting. He also enjoyed photography. He liked old cars, hot rods and real chrome. He enjoyed watching car auctions such as Barrett-Jackson Auto Auctions.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, December 30. 2021 at the funeral home. Services are immediately following at 8 P.M. with Pastor Marvin Miller officiating.

Interment will be at Little Flock Cemetery in Clay County, IN following cremation.
