CLINTON - Brian A. Strayer, 50, of Clinton, Indiana passed away at 7:57 PM, July 6, 2021, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
He was born June 2, 1971, in Champaign, Illinois to Merrill "Mick" Strayer and Sharon Camp Strayer.
Brian worked in the grocery business as a meat cutter at Clinton I.G.A. since he was 16 years old and continued his passion until his passing. Brian loved golf, music, motorcycles, the Fighting Illini, and his dog Wrigley. He was loved by many friends and family members.
He is survived by two sons, Tre (Marissa) Strayer of Clinton and Dru (Taylor) Strayer of Clinton; father, Merrill "Mick" Strayer; and stepmother, Peaches Strayer of Clinton; stepbrother, Alan Debord of Clinton; and stepsister, Teresa (Monte) Collins of Plainfield; cousin, Cheryl Schwanke of Arkansas; special friend, Wendy Oliveri of Clinton; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Strayer; his aunt and uncle Harold and Judy Hanes; and one cousin, Brenda Cunningham.
A private funeral service is being held for the family and loved ones. The family will have a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
