Terre Haute, IN - TERRE HAUTE - Billy Joe Williams, 93, passed away on July 8, 2025.

He was born on February 12, 1932, in Farmersburg, IN to Ernest Williams and Glenn (Tarrh) Williams. He married the love of his life, Uneeta L. Williams, in 1952. Billy served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War as a Rifleman. After his retirement from General Warehouses in 1992, he enjoyed working in his woodshop making crafts and working in his yard. Billy's best pleasure was going to breakfast and the casino with friends especially Bob Shores, and he loved to eat out with his family on Sundays.

He is survived by his sons John W. Williams (Cathy) of Terre Haute and Randy W. Williams (Debbie) of Middleburg, FL; two grandchildren John W. Williams Jr. (Tiffany) and Jennifer L. Johnson (Matt); great-grandchildren Greyson Williams, Aria Williams, Blake Williams, Madison Johnson, and Tyler Johnson; Nancy Shores who was like family; and breakfast buddy Ben Hood.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Uneeta L. Williams, who passed away in August of 2000; both parents; brothers Leslie W. Williams and Lloyd Williams; and Bob Shores who was like a brother.

The family would also like to thank the staff and residents at Sycamore Manor and the hospice staff at Hospice of the Wabash Valley and the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care for all of the excellent care Billy received.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn. Per Billy's request, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Sycamore Manor or Hospice of the Wabash Valley. Online condolences can be made at:
