Betty Waldrop Obituary
CLINTON - Betty Waldrop, 84, of Clinton, Indiana passed away at 2:45 AM, December 15, 2020 at Clinton Gardens. Born January 22, 1936 to Chuck Dreher and Muriel Dowell Dreher.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Sr., son Tim (Ooch), sister Pauline, brother Charles, brother-in-law Donald, and a niece Donetta Gaston.
Survivors: sons Harold Jr. (Janet), Daniel (Cathy), and Bart (Kara); daughter-in-law Karen Waldrop-Hawkins; grandchildren Caitlyn Waldrop, M.D., Tanner (Tara) Waldrop, Logan Waldrop, Royce Waldrop, and Adam Waldrop; great-grandchildren Killian and Asher Waldrop; sister Mary Vrabic; sister-in-law Carol Dreher; and several nieces and nephews.
Anyone who knows Betty know that she lived for her family. They were her world! She loved to cook for them and have them at her house anytime she could. She was an avid Wildcat fan and loved going to all the games that her boys and her grandchildren participated in. She was employed by CBS Records in Terre Haute and finished her working career at Union Hospital Clinton. Betty loved I.U. basketball and when a game was close you could find her cleaning drawers in the house because she couldn't watch anymore. She was known by many as Big 10 Betty. Her genuine love and caring for others will be greatly missed by many.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have chosen to have a private Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church in Clinton where Betty was a member. We will announce a memorial service and celebration of life for friends and family at a later date. Memorial contributions in Betty's memory can be made to Sacred Heart Church or Union Hospital - Clinton Foundation.
