Barbara Kaye Whitlock, 84, of Terre Haute, IN passed away at 2:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2022 at her home.
On Sept. 4, 1937 she was born at Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Laufman For- sythe and Mary Gardner Forsythe.
For many years she was the grain merchandiser for Graham Grain and at one time was a Series Six Commodity Broker. She had also hosted a radio show dealing with the grain markets.
Surviving are a son Gerald B. "Bucky" Whitlock of Car- mel, IN; a daughter, Andrea S. (Daniel) Anguiann of Fresno, CA; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Whitlock; a brother, Jack (Nancy) Forsythe of Marshall, IL; grandchildren, Michelle Simmons, Brooke Keegan, Cameron Kohl, Alana Whitlock, Spencer Whitlock and Lila Rose Whitlock; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Val Cornwell.
She had been a participant in the Women's Transportation Club and was well known by many in the Wabash Valley as an excellent grain merchandiser.
Services in honor of her life will be 11:00 AM CDT Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in the Forsythe Cemetery, rural Marshall. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
