BRAZIL - Anna Lea Bedwell, 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.
She was born on January 13, 1938 in Mount Carmel, Illinois to the late Clifton Guy and Mary Maxine (Dicus) Blair. Anna graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1956. She went on to earn her nursing degree from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Anna married Harold "Pete" Bedwell in 1984. She worked as an LPN and RN throughout Clay County and Marion County for many years. Anna also became President of the Help Hotline in Terre Haute.
In her free time, Anna enjoyed reading mystery novels and the Bible. She also liked spending time on social media, playing computer games, watching HGTV, gardening, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Bedwell; brother, Clifton Ray Blair; and granddaughter, Meagan Lyric Baumann.
Survivors include her children, Bobby (Melissa) Baumann of Pittsboro, John Baumann of Spokane, Washington, Terri Hoover of Mooresville, Steve (Patty) Bedwell of Center Point, Ron Bedwell of Brazil, Greg Bedwell of Center Point, and Linda Robbins of Brazil; brother, John (Kay) Blair of Allendale, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and her fur baby, Patches; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Private graveside services will be held at Brown Cemetery in Center Point.
