Violet Mary Randolph Cooper Barnes, 92, of Pinellas Park, Fla., died June 7 2017, at home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Terre Haute, but resided in Florida. Her parents Mac and Myrtle Randolph owned the Poplar Flower Shop which is still in the family to date.
Violet retired from Supervisor of Public Works for the city of Dania, Fla. She was also an active member of the Does in Inglewood, Fla.. She resided in Pinellas Park with her daughters, Nancy Sparks and Anna Patton. She is survived by two daughters, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a sister, June Sitarski of Terre Haute.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the Skyview Church of Christ, 4050 80th St N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781.
