Tommy Ray Biddle, 70, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017, at his home in Terre Haute, with his family at his side. He was born in Seelyville on Aug. 8, 1946, the son of the late Chester and Eleanor (Bucholz) Biddle. Tommy worked most of his life as a farmer, but spent his early years contracted to the state building Interstate 70.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and collecting shed antlers. Tommy also loved sharing stories, gossiping and spending time with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley A. Biddle, Roberta Biddle Seeley, Judy Biddle Gauer; and his brother, Robert L. Biddle.
Survivors include his wife, Barb Biddle of Terre Haute; daughters, Lesley (Brian Williams) Howard of Bridgeton, Billie Jo (John) Evans, and Tasha (Jared) Jones, all of Terre Haute; brothers, Bill (Jane) Biddle, and Otis "Ike" Biddle, all of Terre Haute; sister, Wilma (Rodney) Biddle Singer of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Mary, Brittan, David, Quintan, Taylor, Harper, and Jameson; great-grandchildren, Chase and Hadley; several nieces, nephews, special friends and other extended family
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Moore Funeral Home, in Brazil, with burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery, Brazil.
