Sheila A. Johnson, 60, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at her home in Terre Haute, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Linton, to Shirley and Norman Bradley. She grew up in the area and attended Shakamak schools.
She held the position as an administrative assistant in the Indiana Department of Children Family Services. She was a member of the Union Christian Church. Sheila loved attending basketball games, whether it was ISU playing or North High School. More than anything, Sheila loved spending time with her family.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents, John and Thelma Gardner.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Kenneth Johnson; her daughter, Jayme Copeland and husband Aaron; her mother, Shirley; granddaughter, Reegan Copeland; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in Sheila's honor on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Senior Minister of N.T.H.C.C. Chris McKinney will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Terre Haute Women's Club Shoe Bus or the Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
