Norma Jean Meadows, 94, of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Regional Hospital. She was born on Nov. 4, 1922, in Sullivan County, to Rollie Miller Richmond and Mary Louise Richmond. She was married to Arthur Meadows and he preceded her in death less than two months ago. She is survived by her nephew, Terry Greggs of Farmersburg.
Norma and Art loved to travel, especially to Florida and Arizona. Norma worked for Harrold Beauty Academy for over 30 years. She then went on to own and operate her own beauty salon called The Cameo on State Road 46 for over 20 years.
Norma was active in many local pageants and served on the board for the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of Delta Zeta Chapter #3618 Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority for 50 years. She attended Memorial United Methodist Church.
Per Norma's wishes, cremation was chosen. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 19, at Roselawn Memorial Park. Norma's family would like to thank Westminster Village for all of their help and support. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at:
