LOUISVILLE, Ky. - John David Kirkman was born Sept. 3, 1982, in Terre Haute, Indiana, and passed away March 5, 2017, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was 34 years old.
He is survived by his son, Gram Kirkman; parents, David and Lynda Kirkman; siblings, Scott, Jamie and Kyle Kirkman; and cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
John was a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and also attended Indiana State University, going on to work in food and retail management across the country.
John will be remembered for his many musical, comedic and impersonation talents. He had a unique ability to make us all laugh out loud at the mundane things of life.
Many will recall his infamous Aaron Neville impression:
The fabric of our lives."
John was a diehard Notre Dame football fan and more importantly had his own personal fan base of the many friends he made across the country in his travels. He was by nature a leader and lifted up those who were lost and hard pressed.
We all miss you, John.
