Jaynie Tiffin Jewell, 57, passed away at St. Vincent Heart Hospital on Thursday, April 20, 2017. She was born to James and Carmen (Wilson) Tiffin, on April 30, 1959, in Terre Haute, Indiana. She graduated from Terre Haute North High School (class of 1977) and Indiana State University. Jaynie's generosity and kindness was noticed and cherished by everyone she came across. Her children were her life including her beloved dog, Jude. She enjoyed cooking for others. She had a passion for the Beatles, and adored John and Paul. She loved to follow politics ("Meet the Press" was a must-see) and had a special affinity for the Kennedys. She was working as a teacher's aide at Cascade Schools.
Jaynie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Taylor Floreth (wife Melissa) and James Tiffin; her daughter, Sarah Avery (husband Tyler); and her sister, Sylvia Marrs. She was very excited by the anticipated arrival of her first grandchild in November. Jaynie will be deeply missed by her loving family and all who knew her.
A celebration of life is being planned for May.
