Henry "Hank" Louis Miller, 77, of Brazil, passed away at home, unexpectedly, Sept. 26, 2017. He was born in Landsberg, Germany, on Dec. 12, 1939, the son of Heinrich and Frances (Ederer) Miller.
He graduated from Gerstmeyer High School with the class of 1957. He moved to Florida in 1964, where he worked as a mechanic for Volkswagen. He also worked as a service manager for Jaguar in South Florida. He enjoyed flying his Cessna, riding his Harley Davidson, boating, and scuba diving.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother and sister-in-law, Oscar Miller and his wife Nancy Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta "Bobbie" Miller, whom he married on Sept. 21, 1974; four children, Karen Glicksman of Kansas City, Mo., Joe Miller and wife Diane of Fort Mill, S.C., Steve Miller and wife Carol of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Edi Zimmerman and husband Larry of Centerpoint; grandchildren, Stacey Platt, Shannon Glicksman, Martin Glicksman, Andrew Miller, Katherine Maas, Travis Owsley, Jared Owsley, Zachary Zimmerman; as well as several great-grandchildren and extended family members and friends.
