Gloria Lee Jordan, 88, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville. She was born in Linton, on Nov. 9, 1928, to the late Virgil and Jesse (Moreland) Gray. Gloria graduated from Wiley High School in 1947, and married Jasper Jordan, Jr. on Oct. 21, 1948.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, watching game shows, and old movies. Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Gene Gray; and grandson, Shad Cox.
Survivors include sons, Gary (Judy) Jordan, Robert (Sheryl) Jordan, William (Amy) Jordan, all of Brazil, and Wayne Jordan of Terre Haute; daughters, Kathy (John) Cox of Greencastle and Connie (Ron) Houser of Knightsville; sisters, Norma Cremonie of Terre Haute, Martha (Bill) Wiand of Lowell and Paula Lowe of Pinellas Park, Fla.; grandchildren, Alan Jordan, David Jordan, Kevin Jordan, Christopher Houser, Amber Smith, Catrina Enos, Joshua Houser and Benjamin Jordan; and great-grandchildren, Zyan, Jon, Trevar, Calvin, Abigail and Sara Cox, Rylee Jordan and Juliet and Jocelyn Enos.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Moore Funeral Home, Brazil, with burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
