Ethan L. Martin, 37, of Terre Haute passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born July 18, 1979, in Flagstaff, Ariz., to Larry Martin and Dawn DeLisle Martin.
Ethan was a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and Ivy Tech Community College. Ethan was a member of Iron Workers Local 22. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid sports fan and an all-around sportsman.
Ethan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Francis and Adalaide DeLisle; and paternal grandparents, Ralph, Wilma and Louanna Martin.
He is survived by his father, Larry Martin and his fiancee Linda Hall of Terre Haute; his mother, Dawn Forsman and John Nicoletti of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; his sons, Isaac Martin and Ayden Martin; their mother, Andrea Rowlett. Ethan also is survived by his brother, Tyler Martin, his wife, Ashlee and their son, Miles, all of Bloomington; his stepsister, Susanna Goodman and Ed Johnston, of Terre Haute; special friend, Danielle Kull and her daughter, Olivia Martin; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Friday, April 21, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Maryland Community Church, 4700 South State Road 46, Terre Haute, with a gathering of friends and family from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Pastor Scot Longyear will be officiating. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the children of Ethan. Envelopes will be available at the church. DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E.
