Elaine Pruett, 81, of Clinton, died March 17, 2017, at 9:40 a.m., in the Clinton Gardens. She was born May 3, 1935, in Sullivan County, to Harold Morris and Jean Morris.
She owned and operated Monograms Unlimited for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Pruett; and two brothers, Darrell and Dwayne Morris.
She is survived by her children, Jack and Ruth Pruett of Terre Haute, Peggy and Greg Payton of Terre Haute, and Keith and Cindi Pruett of Clinton; three sisters, Detta Morris of Sullivan County, Sharon Epperson of Anderson and Diane Boyd of Mount Vernon, Ill.; one brother, Ronnie Morris of Sullivan County; five grandchildren, Chad Pruett of West Terre Haute, Steven Payton of Indianapolis, Bob Payton of Terre Haute, Brandy Pruett of Clinton and Lindsay Brown of Clinton; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Frist Funeral Home with services to be held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Lynn Dunning officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
