Diane M. Rowe, 66, of Carrollton, GA lost her valiant five year fight with pancreatic cancer on August 4, 2017. She died peacefully at home with her family.
Diane was born on December 31, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN to Margaret E. Shoemaker and the late Robert H. Shoemaker. She worked in banking in Indianapolis and Terre Haute, IN before relocating to Carrollton in 1981. She worked at Carrollton Junior High School from 1985 before retiring in 2004, where she met many life-long friends.

She was a doer - from volunteering at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Reagan in the '80s to serving as a hospice volunteer for 20 years and as recently as 3 months ago. She was the glue to her family, loved golf, Georgia Tech sports, extended family vacations, and her many friends. Their support was unwavering during her entire journey.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Rowe; mother, Margaret E. Shoemaker; son, Marc (Brook) Rowe; daughters, Mandy (Chris) Flury, Dawn (Jeffrey) Cope, and Staci (Eric) Christensen; grandchildren, Samantha Gentry, Weston Rowe, Ruby Rowe, Andrew Flury, Grace Flury, Anna Flury, Kayleigh (Joseph) Fosnow, Callie Christensen, Madison Christensen, Luke Christensen, and Kate Christensen.
