Devin Charles Lee Morris, 26, of West Terre Haute, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017, in his home due to a terminal illness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He was born Nov. 5, 1990, in Terre Haute.
Survivors include his mother, Angela Morris and her companion Kirk Rowe; a brother, Anthony McGill and his companion Morgan Scott; grandparents, Linda and Ronnie Belleu; great-grandmother, Opal John; a nephew, Greyson McGill; aunts and uncles, April Morris (Tony McGill), Alisha Morris (Brett Fields), Cody Morris (Kalayla Morris), Sarah Hayes (Caleb Hayes), Kaylynn Morris and Zoey Morris; and a plethora of special cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis England; Grandpa Crab; Grandmother Julie; and great-grandparents, Fred and Pat Morris and Lew John.
Devin enjoyed video gaming, movies, comic-con, twitter, Zombies, super heroes, and star wars. He was an advocate for medical marijuana hoping it would be legalized for people who suffer.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Devin's eulogy provided by his cousin, Joshua Beasley. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Friday.
