Christopher's Story

Text size

Christopher Dale 'C.D.' Pickett, 19, of Brazil, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2017. Chris was born Dec. 11, 1997, in Terre Haute, the son of Christopher Edward and Christy Ann (Snow) Pickett.
He graduated from Northview High School with the class of 2016. Currently he was enrolled at Ivy Tech in Terre Haute. During high school, he was an active member of Jag and really enjoyed delivering Christmas trees to those in need.
Chris was a very giving person. He donated his hair twice to Locks of Love and was working on a third donation of hair to Wigs for Kids. It was not uncommon to see Chris playing Yugioh Cards, Dungeon of Dragons, video games, or reading a book that he had to finish once he started. His greatest love was being outdoors. Chris loved to hang on the farm with his cousins and family, fish, coon hunt, go camping, and being in nature in general.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Steve Snow.
Chris is survived by his parents, Christopher and Christy Pickett; sister, Victoria Pickett; paternal grandma, Janice Pickett; maternal grandparents, Joani and Gib Lanham; great-grandmother, Virginia Elliott; aunts and uncles, Jamie and Chad Head, Steven Snow, and Renee and Clay Frazier; cousins, Becky and Mike, Dillan, Danielle, Brookelyn, Kylee, Tyler, Vada, Matt, Vanessa, Joseph, Jacob, Veronica, Rose, Calvin, Vanorra, Vivian, Carissa, James, Phillip, Monique, Cassidy and Joey and their children, Johnny and Rachel; as well as extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 3 until 7 p.m. at French Funeral Home. Memory sharing time will begin at 7 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wigs for Kids, 24231 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake OH 44145. To leave a note of condolence, visit:
