Carlos Leon Vinson "Big Los", 52, of Indianapolis, was born on Jan. 10, 1965, to the proud parents of Anna Henrietta Stewart-Brown and Leonard Vinson of Terre Haute.
Carlos's Home Going was on March 19, 2017 in Terre Haute.
Celebration of life services will be held at Spruce Street AME Church, 1660 Spruce St., Terre Haute. Repast will follow in the dining hall. Arrangements are by Russell Funeral Home, Terre Haute.
Carlos was educated through the VCSC. Carlos was employed at the Elbow Room Pub & Deli as one of the cooks.
Carlos was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Stewart-Brown; his father, Leonard Vinson; his Auntie-Mom, Monzella; Uncle-Dad, William Grady; and his brother, Phillip Vinson.
Carlos leaves to celebrate his life, his four children. Crystal Housley-Vinson, Courtney Housley-Vinson, Bridget Vinson, Booker Housley-Vinson; all of Indianapolis; two sisters, Sarah Stewart and Sheila Vinson of Kenosha, Wis.; three brothers, Bernard Brown, Rodney Vinson (Jana), and Bobby Vinson (Donisha), of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren, Jadyss, Azianya, C' Aundre, Kiarra, Daijahnaia, Courtney, and Autumn.
The family of Carlos Vinson wishes to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all who supported us in our time of sorrow.
