William 'Bill''s Story

William Arthur Hamilton "Bill", 74, of Brazil, passed away Jan. 28, 2018. He was born Aug. 10, 1943, in Brazil, to Charles Hamilton and Myrtle (Elwell) Hamilton.
He worked as a truck driver. He was a member of American Legion 58 and Eagles. Bill was not a materialistic man. Family was very important and he always made sure they were taken care of. He loved his grandchildren. It is believed that if there was a Horse Pull in Heaven, that he is there watching.
Bill is survived by his children, Brian Hamilton, Wendy Phillips (Gary), and William "Billy" Hamilton Jr.; grandchildren, Brent "Cole" Cooley and Blake Phillips, triplet granddaughters, Sara, Tiffany, Katelynn Phillips, Katie Hamilton, and Luke Hamilton; former wife, Kathy Bilyou Hamilton; siblings, Tom Hamilton (Susan), Rex Hamilton, and Beth Rogers; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hamilton and Rose Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Larry Hamilton (Wanda), John Hamilton Lester Hamilton, and Duane Hamilton.
In honoring his wishes, Bill will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time. Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute. Online condolences may be made at:
