Wanda Louise (Morris) Spence, 79, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at Union Hospital (Clinton) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born July 10, 1938, in Louisville, Ky.
She was a 1956 graduate of Otter Creek School. Wanda was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, enjoyed attending local festivals, country music and dancing. She also was a volunteer and caregiver. She loved animals, especially her cat, Tommy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Pauline Morris; her lifetime partner, Blondie Eugene King; and siblings, Charles Morris, John Morris, Carolyn Rossi and Mary Morris.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Sherri Snow and husband Steven, Jill Lane and husband Jack; grandchildren, Linsey Spence, Jacob Lane, Sawyer Snow, Ryker Snow and Colton Snow; great-grandchildren, Carly, Brianna and Kaden; and three special nieces.
There will be no visitation or services. Per her wishes cremation has been chosen, with a celebration of life Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, 2 to 4 p.m. at The Eagles.
