Vincent V. Patarino, 79, of Indianapolis, entered into eternal rest on Dec. 11, 2017. He was born on Sept. 5, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Egidgo and Vincenza Patarino.
He proudly served in the United States Army and the NY National Guard. Vincent worked for Queen's Printing in Indianapolis and then Ivy Hill Printing Co. in Terre Haute, where he retired in 2003. He was a past member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church and the sports memorabilia club.
Vincent enjoyed watching the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Indianapolis Colts. He traveled every year in February to the Dodgers training camp. He also enjoyed cooking and making his special pasta sauce.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sheryl J. Patarino; four children, Vincent V. (Jennifer) Patarino Jr., G. Michael (Stacia) Patarino, Donald T. (Michele) Patarino and Christina Patarino; 11 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave.; and from 1 p.m. until the mass at the church. He will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley.
