BRAZIL - Timothy M. Weaver, 78, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at Terre Haute Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born in Brazil on Feb. 26, 1939, to the late Ernest and Maude (Chaney) Weaver.
Tim graduated from Brazil High School in 1957, and went on to marry Madge Evans on June 11, 1960, in Bee Ridge Church where he and Madge were lifetime members. He served his country in the Army National Guard, and worked on his family farm.
Tim was a volunteer firefighter in Dick Johnson Township for over 30 years. He served as the chairman for the Christmas in the Park Parade, was a former reserve deputy for the Clay County Sheriff's Department, and was a member of the cemetery board for Bee Ridge Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Madge Weaver.
Survivors include his son, Sam (Sonya) Weaver; grandchildren, Seth, Damon, Darian, Skylar, Cassidy, TJ, and Kelsea; great-grandchildren, Dean, Katarina, Olivia, Cooper, and Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil, with Pastor Dennis Holley officiating. Burial to follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m., and again on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
