Timothy James Finley, 62, of West Terre Haute, passed away at 3:54 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He had been employed with the Terre Haute Tribune Star as a delivery driver for many years. He was born May 31, 1955, in Paris, Ill., to James Howard Finley and Ruth Elizabeth Mullen Finley.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Kay Rogers Finley; a daughter, Chanon Rowe; two sons, James Finley and Tyler Finley; three grandchildren, Daniel Rowe, Andrew Rowe, and Brantley Finley; and two great-grandchildren, Paisley Rowe and Presley Rowe.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister, Susan Finley.
Tim enjoyed playing cards and attending flea markets.
A celebration of life for Tim will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 3001 Maple Ave., Terre Haute, with Pastor Kenneth Alkire officiating a brief service at 1:30 p.m. The family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Tim Finley Memorial Fund with envelopes available at the church.
