Thomas Lee Boland


Thomas Lee Boland, 73, of Dunnellon, Fla., passed away Jan. 3, 2019. He was born in Terre Haute, Ind., to Joseph Wayne and Dorothy Jean (Kloster) Boland.
He graduated from Schulte High School and attended Indiana State University. He was a retired regional sales director for Nor Tel Networks and Catholic by Faith. Tom was an air traffic controller for the U.S. Air Force and a Vietnam veteran.
He enjoyed golf and traveling, and was active with the Military Club of Spruce Creek Preserve.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda Nicely Boland; son, Brad (Debbie) Boland of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, William Joseph (Nikki) Boland of Frisco, Texas, and Joseph Anthony (Phyllis) Boland of Pimento, Ind.; twin grandchildren, Thomas Richard Boland and Taylor Morgan Boland; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal companion, Katy Lou. A celebration of Tom's life will be held at the Community Center Ballroom at Spruce Creek Preserve, Dunnellon, Fla., Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Legacy House, Hospice of Marion County or Vets Helping Vets, Ocala, Fla.
