Sharron Gaye (Holdaway) Sellers was born Jan. 24, 1931, to Frederick and Lodema (Cochran) Holdaway, in Terre Haute. She died peacefully in Seattle, on Oct. 7, 2017. She was married for 67 years to James R. Sellers who preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 2016.
She is survived by her sister, Jeanne Alexander of Plainfield; and three children, Victoria (Michael) Carrick of Laramie Wyo., James (Nancy) Sellers of Seattle, Debra G. (Bruce) Herbers of Memphis Tenn.; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She spent her life loving and caring for her family. She was always positive in both actions and words for everyone. She loved creating gardens that were like her, always beautiful. As a perpetual student of natural history and with a spirit of adventure; time spent with her would be a fun filled learning experience with trips to monuments, museums or historic places. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were so special that she randomly celebrated them with small specialized gifts known as "Happies". She was the definition of a loving, giving, and caring mother and grandmother.
