Robert L. Came, 83, of Terre Haute, passed away Nov. 10, 2017, at his home. He was born Aug. 21, 1934, in Clay County, the son of Henry and Lucille Zenor Came.
He graduated from Cory High School. While in high school he played baseball and was a "Cory Apple Boy" on the basketball team. Bob worked as a mechanical engineer for Feitag-Weinhardt and also at Pfizer, Inc.
Bob was a member of the Riley Masonic Lodge 390. He enjoyed playing golf and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his children, Mark Came (Anne), Todd Came (Jan) and Debbie Miller (Ron); daughter-in-law, Jessica Came; grandchildren, Danielle (Craig), Kristi (Brandon), Nicole (Mitch), Keri, Tyler, Brett (Kelsey) and Julie; great-grandchild, Lucas; other extended family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Came and Lucille Came Sartor; son, Kent Came; and his beloved wife of 60 years, Patricia Miller Came.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mount Calvary VanCleve Cemetery with Pastor Mark Grayless officiating. Masonic services will be provided by the Riley Lodge 390. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
