Raymond R. Louche, 71, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at Union Hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1945, in Vermillion County. Raised by Fred and Louise Joslyn, he attended Rosedale High School.
Raymond retired from Alcan Aluminum with 45 years of service as a forklift truck operator. His hobbies included fishing, gardening and watching NASCAR, his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. He also enjoyed meeting with his "Pit Stop" buddies every morning and loved spending time with family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jo Ann Louche; son, Russ Louche (Brooke); daughter, Rachelle Laware (Chris); four grandchildren, Renee Louche, Emily, Matthew and Drew Laware; two step-grandchildren, Stephanie and Kali Phillips; sister, Virginia Vaughn, Lake Havasu, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Lee Joslyn, Danville, Ky.; sister-in-law, Mary Webster (David); niece, Whitney Harruff (Evan); nephew, Brian Webster, Los Angeles; and nephew, Dale Joslyn II (Toni), Danville, Ky.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Louise Joslyn; brother, Dale Joslyn; and sisters, Betty Taylor and Dorothy Owen.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., with a short prayer service following visitation. Contact online at:
