Randy Lee Sullivan Sr., 61, of West Terre Haute passed away at 8:40 p.m. Sunday Sept. 10, 2017, in his residence. He was an area supervisor for The Vigo County Highway Department for many years. He was born July 13, 1956, in Terre Haute, to Everett Sullivan Sr. and Mary Mae Christenberry Sullivan. He married the love of his life, Cindy L. Ellis Sullivan on Aug. 18, 1973, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 9, 2015.
Survivors include four children, two daughters, Christy Graves and her husband Fred of West Terre Haute, and Misty Kennedy and her husband P.J. of Terre Haute, two sons, Randy Sullivan and his wife Shelly, and Brandon Sullivan and his wife Stacey, all of West Terre Haute; his parents, Everett and Mary Sullivan of West Terre Haute; three sisters, Debra Springman (Keith) and Terry Johnson (John), all of West Terre Haute, and Karen Kendall (Jack) of Corpus Christie, Texas; two brothers, Michael Sullivan (Jackie) and Everett Sullivan (Tracy), all of West Terre Haute; 15 grandchildren, Dylan Graves and his fianceé Amanda, Tanner Graves, Jake Graves, Levi Graves, Kelsey Kennedy, Maddie Kennedy, Bailey Kennedy, Billy Sullivan, Trisha Sullivan, Chelsey Sullivan, Savannah Sullivan, Randy Sullivan III, Victoria Sullivan, Kyler Sullivan, and Janelle Sullivan; 10 great grandchildren; and special friends, Bud Griffin, Larry Likens, and Earl Leclerq; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his dog, Buddy.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Everett Sullivan Jr.
Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, attending auctions, and camping at Lazy L Lake.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and prior to services Friday.
