Patsy's Story

Patsy Ruth Nash, 88, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017. She was born Oct.16, 1928, in Terre Haute, to Patsy E. Dwyer and Flora (Mullen) Dwyer.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Patsy also was a life time member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 972 Women's Auxiliary, where she also was active in COOTIES.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dennis Nash Jr.; her parents; great-granddaughter, Morgan Stanisz; and siblings, Ivan Dwyer and Herb Dwyer.
She is survived by her daughters, Frances Perkins (Mike), Betty Jo Holder (Frank), Patricia Turk (Randy), Debra Kristopson, Steven Nash (Sue), and Dennis Nash; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Dwyer; and special family, Diane and Fred Eads and Callie.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 1 p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute. Private burial will take place at a later time in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited come and celebrate Patsy's life at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the America Cancer Society.
