Patricia Kay Scott Klass, 80, of Coal City, passed away Tuesday in Union Hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1937, in Clay City, the daughter of Harley E. Scott and Naomi White Scott.
Patricia was a graduate of Clay City High School, class of 1956. After high school she married Norman Lee Klass. She was a homemaker and was married to her loving husband for 62 years. Patricia loved going to flea markets and she collected hammered aluminum. She also loved to read and had a nice collection of books.
Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Temple and husband Clay; grandchildren, Amber Temple, and Kara Toothman and husband Tommy; great-grandchildren, Kade Toothman and Raina Temple; sisters, Joyce Sanders and husband David, and Marcheta Harris; and a brother-in-law, Todd Klass and fiancée Tammy Ninesling; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman; a son, Michael Klass; and a sister, Miladeen Baumgartner.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, in Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 E. Eighth St., Clay City, with Pastor David Smith officiating.
