Patricia A. Yandle, 78, died Sept. 30, 2017. She was from Terre Haute.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Gerry Yandle; her father, Theodore "Frank" Hickman and her mother Catherine Anne Perry-Hickman, both of Terre Haute; one brother-in-law, Bernie Bledsoe.
She is survived by two sons, Greg Secrest of Portland, Ore., and Eric Secrest and his wife Tina of Terre Haute; one daughter, Robbin Haase and her husband Mike of Terre Haute; five grandchildren, Eric Joseph and Alan Daniel Secrest, Alexander Reid and his wife Shelby, and Michaela and Hailee Haase, all of Terre Haute; one great-granddaughter, Anna Secrest of Terre Haute; one brother, Gary Hickman and his wife Debby; one sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Bledsoe; and many nieces and nephews. She also is survived by her dear friend, Debbie Acevedo of Wheeling, Ill., who was always there for her, when her family couldn't be. Her children will be forever grateful.
Her ex-husband, Harry Secrest Jr. and his wife Rosaline helped so much, especially in the last few months.
She was such a kind hearted and giving woman...she will be forever in our hearts and missed by many.
She and Gerry loved the outdoors and animals, especially birds. Their love for each other was immeasurable.
She was cremated. No funeral, per her request. There will be a celebration of life for close family and friends at a later date.
