Olga's Story

HORTONVILLE Wis. - Olga M Llewellyn, age 80, found her way to our Loving Father in Heaven on Nov. 11, 2017. She passed away peacefully at home with her family and pets in Wisconsin, after a brief illness with a rare form of Palsy. Olga was born Oct. 9, 1937, in Havana, Cuba, to Juan and Aida Berthaut
She left Cuba in 1959, touring with the Miss Cuba pageant, at that time she met her husband of 49 years, Dick C. Llewellyn. They married in a small ceremony in Lehi, Utah, on April 20, 1960. In 1961 she gave birth to her son, Link J. Llewellyn who resides in Waimanalo, Hawaii, with his wife, Christina Llewellyn, and their son, Cale Llewellyn. In 1963 she gave birth to her daughter, Laika Llewellyn-Davis. Olga spent her last years with her daughter, Laika, her son-in-Law, Michael S. Davis and her three grandchildren, Dustin, Cade and Lauren. She especially loved her cat Simba, and dog Stella who steadfastly stayed by her side.
Olga is survived by her son, Link Llewellyn his wife Christina and their son Cale; daughter, Laika Llewellyn-Davis, her husband, Michael S. Davis and grandchildren, Dustin Proshuto, Cade and Lauren Hartfiel of Appleton, Wis. Along with her step-grandsons, Michael and Nicholas; her nephew, John Berthaut and his daughter, Christina; brother, Juan Berthaut and his wife Carmen. Her dear lifelong friends, Glady's and Benny Feijoo' and Bart and Phyllis Sharp.
Olga's wishes are to be cremated and thanks to Gary Greiner and the staff at Greiner Funeral Home of Terre Haute, Ind., and Clint Micke and the staff at Cline Hanson Funeral Home in New London, Wis. - her wishes were fulfilled. Her wishes are for her ashes to be spread at the beach near her late husband's in Hawaii.
A special thank you to the Hospice staff in Oshkosh, Wis., who guided Olga to a peaceful resting place. Thank you also Father John of New London, Wis., for making house calls and administering the Sacrament of Sick.
Memorial donations can be sent to Olga's favorite charity the Humane Society in Terre Haute.
