Norma's Story

Text size

Norma Jean Page, 91, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Dec. 13, 1925, in Linton to Ben and Fay (Stantz) Atto.
Norma is survived by her husband of 74 years, Arnold Page of Terre Haute; children, Sue Collins, Arnold "Buzz" Page and wife Jan, Karen Page, Gary Page and wife Peggy, Ronald Page and wife Kim and Debra Page; a brother, Ben Atto and wife Sandy; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Sharlyn Bland.
Norma was the co-owner of Page's IGA for many years. She was a member of North Terre Haute Baptist Church and had a zest for life and a great sense of adventure. Not your average 91 year old, she went zip lining on her 90th birthday. Norma loved to ride on Harleys, snowmobiles, jet skis and loved horses. When she wasn't being a daredevil, Norma also liked to travel, go to auctions, and garden. Norma will always be remembered for her spunky, independent nature and love for her family. She will be truly missed.
Visitation will be from 11 until 2 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Bland officiating. Norma will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
