Nicklaus's Story

Nicklaus Macke came into this world on Dec. 7, 1991, in Terre Haute, to Loren Macke, a very proud father. Nicklaus was blessed with a loving grandmother, Mary Elizabeth, who helped in raising him.
Nick loved music and adventures such as white water rafting, skydiving and exploring the mountains. A hobby that Nick shared with his dad was golf and his name was in honor of Loren's favorite golfer, Jack Nicklaus.
Survivors include his parents, Loren and Cathy Macke; the love of his life, Kelsy Jo Listenberger; his loving aunts, Susan (Jeff) Comerford and Loretta (Steve) Neal; his uncle, Kent Macke; two cousins, Clark (Belinda) Comerford and Ty (Abbie) Comerford; and two special brothers, Matthew Larson and Nick Green.
Services in celebration of his life will be 3 p.m. CDT Saturday at Pearce Funeral Home with visitation after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Rescue Me Clifford. Online condolences are being accepted at:
