Natalie Mae Hayes, 31, of Brazil, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 29, 2017, at her home. She was born Sept. 1, 1986, in Vigo County, the daughter of Terry and Darla Royer Hayes.
She was raised in Clay County and graduated from Northview High School, class of 2005. Natalie has worked as a CNA since high school and has worked for Nurse Care for the past five years as a home health aide. In the past she worked at Holly Hill Healthcare and at Royal Oaks. She enjoyed working with the elderly and truly like her clients.
Natalie was baptized and raised in Annunciation Catholic Church.
Survivors include her parents, Terry and Darla Hayes; her daughters, Ryleigh Hayes and Audrie Green, all of Brazil; two sisters, Shelly Amerman (Troy) of Clinton and Jennifer Hayes of Brazil; two nieces, Carrington Halterman and Kathy Amerman; and one nephew, Aiden Halterman; grandmother, Pauline Royer of Brazil; aunts and uncles, Donnell and Teresa Royer, Darrell and Annette Royer, Larry and Connie Hayes, Jerry and Maryann Hayes, Kim Huffman, and Cindy and Rick Murphy; her boyfriend, Edscell "Andy" Green; many cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Aron Royer; grandparents, Hershel and Irene Hayes; and uncles, Darren Royer, David Hayes and Steve Huffman.
Services will be Wednesday at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, at 8 p.m. with Father Hollowell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
