Mary's Story

Text size

Mary was born to Charles and Sarah Brown in Terre Haute, on Oct. 6, 1932. One of five children, Donna Jean Bryant, Charles "Junior" Brown, Rosie Howard and Jerry Brown, Mary retained a tight bond to her family through her entire life. Where she commonly referred to her "best friends" as her sisters.
In 1951, she married Albert Wilson Supp Jr., who promptly went off to Korea to fight for his country and return in 1953 to start their life on Heck Ave., in Terre Haute. In 1954 they had their first child, Albert Wayne Supp III, who was their large bundle of joy, and five years later they tried to get it right and had their second baby Karen (Supp) Bridgewater.
While she enjoyed bowling, bunco and almost any game out there, she enjoyed it more because she did it with the ones she loved surrounding her.
Mary worked as a bookkeeper for Kmart, where she retired from to begin her new career as an amazing mother and grandmother. She spent countless hours protecting grandkids from their parents evil spankings, and teaching kids the rules and strategies of every game out there (until they got good enough to beat her!). Mary truly was dedicated to her family and enjoyed every minute she got with them and we know she's happy to be in Heaven, reunited with those she's been apart from.....
Mary is survived by her son, Albert Supp III, his wife Cheryll Supp; three grandkids, Albert Supp IV, Amanda (Supp) Woollard and Elyse Bridgewater; five great-grandchildren; Logan Supp, Alexis Supp, Logan Fedak, Isabel and Johanna Woollard and numerous nieces and nephews.
