Mary "Jane" Auler, 68, of Terre Haute, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, April 2, 2017, in Signature Healthcare at Terre Haute. She was born Oct. 29, 1948, at Vincennes, Ind., to Ralph Lee Keasling Sr. and Wilma Doris Humphrey Keasling.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Lee "Mike" Auler, whom she married on Feb. 27, 1999, at Terre Haute; four children, Brenda Vester, Rick Davis and his wife Rachel, Michael "Butch" Auler, and Leslie Wrightsman, all of Terre Haute; three brothers, Butch Keasling and his wife Janice of Wheatland, Ind., Bob Keasling and his wife Barb of Brazil, Ind., and Roy Lee Keasling and his wife Gloria of Terre Haute; a sister, Martha Peak of Terre Haute; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; and her mother, Wilma Doris Parham.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge 291 and the American Legion Krietenstein Post 104 Ladies Auxilliary. She enjoyed yard selling, mushroom hunting and dancing.
Funeral services will be at noon Thursday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation with envelopes available in the funeral home.
