Marjorie G. Keegan Long, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, in Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus. She helped operate Kountry Kids Child Care. She had previously worked at Quaker Maid and Modern Album. Marjorie was born May 27, 1936, in Terre Haute, to Emery Keegan and Ollie (Hazlett) Keegan, and was one of 11 children.
She is survived by daughters, Ranee Armstrong (Michael) and Deborah Pearce; a son, Randy White (Keri); grandchildren, Dustan Armstrong (AmyJo) and Daniel Armstrong (Amber); two great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet Steward, Charlotte Pound, and Joy Edwards; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Long, who died Oct. 11, 2009; and several brothers and sisters.
Marjorie enjoyed quilting, crocheting, camping and fishing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing her guitar and singing with her family.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, in Watson Cemetery, with Pastor John Sandiford officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
