Marilyn Kay Burk, 72, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away Dec. 19, 2017. She was born in Covington, Indiana, on March 14, 1945, to Leolus Odeneal and Ruby Katherine (Runyan) Odeneal.
She worked at Glas-Col. Marilyn enjoyed mushroom hunting, yard sales, gardening and volunteering and working at the food pantry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Burk, in 1992; son, Michael Myers; and siblings, Carl Dean Odeneal, Delories Bedwell, Carol Biddle and Charles David Odeneal. She is survived by her children, Tammy Jo Caton of Cayuga and Kenneth Johnson of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Amanda Barnhart, Micheal Walls and Brent Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Gwyneth, Jacob, Lennon, Kaya and Lennon; siblings, Shirley Woolwine, Larry Odeneal, William Odeneal and Kathleen Beavers; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., Terre Haute, Indiana. Pastor Larry Spear will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday. Online condolences may be made at:
