Lydia Georgiana McIntosh, 82, of Paris, Ill., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday morning, Dec. 11, 2017. Lydia was born Dec. 25, 1934, in Menard, Texas, to the late Rafael and Rosa (Urteaga) Sanchez.
She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Max McIntosh; a son, Rafael Allen McIntosh and his wife Jana of Westfield, Ind.; a daughter, Gloria Rosés and her husband Victor of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a grandson, James Nathan McIntosh; a stepgrandson, Peter Cozzi; siblings, Gilbert Sanchez, Thomas Sanchez and Josephine Gloria, all of Kansas, and Mary Sanchez and Hope Sosa, both of Texas; and a sister-in-law, Faye McIntosh of Paris.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alenah Rosés; and siblings, Sam, Raymond, Jimmy and Lewis Sanchez.
Visitation for Mrs. McIntosh will be from 4 until 7 p.m. CST Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, 303 East Wood St., Paris. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Embarrass Cemetery.
