Loretta Kay Giordano

BLANFORD - Loretta Kay Giordano, 82, of Blanford, passed away at 7:20 p.m. Sept. 8, 2018, at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton. Born March 2, 1936, in St. Bernice, she was the daughter of George Wilber Hall and Ruby E. Sidener Hall.
She retired as a clerk from Walmart in Clinton in 2013.
She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 154 and State Line Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steve Giordano on May 22, 2000; a son, Steven W. Giordano; and a brother, Tom Hall.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Giordano of Blanford; three sons, Victor A. (Tammy) Giordano and George (Anna) Giordano, all of Blanford, and Steve T. Giordano of St. Bernice; four granddaughters; two grandsons; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Giovanini Funeral Home in Clinton, with Pastor Tom Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Spangler Cemetery in Centenary. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Order of Eastern Star services at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association. I'm so very sorry to see that your Mother has past. It's very difficult losing your Mother. I remember my Dad "Sug Jackson" tell stories about when they were in school. My parents thought highly of Kay. Again, I'm very sorry. Starla Wright
