Larry Eugene Booe, 61, formerly of Attica, and had been residing in Dugger, passed away at 11:50 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017, at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute. Larry was born in Lafayette, on June 15, 1956, the son of the late Paul William and Linda (Jacks) Booe.
He lived most of his life in Attica, residing in Dugger for the past four years. He attended Lafayette Jefferson High School and Attica High School.
Larry formerly worked at Myers Steel in Attica for several years.
He enjoyed fishing and following his favorite sports teams, Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts and the Miami Dolphins. He also enjoyed watching his favorite college basketball team, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, also known as the Zags.
He leaves behind two daughters, Jennifer (fiancé, Darryl Coleman) Booe-Hinote and Danielle Booe, both of Terre Haute; two sons, David (fiancée, Jessica Brown) Hanover, Fort Drum, Fla., and Joshua Booe, Terre Haute; a brother, Michael (Rhonda) Booe, Terre Haute; a sister, Lisa (fiancé, Rick Roach) Booe-Key, Attica; Larry was like a father to his grandson, Addison Booe, Terre Haute; several grandchildren; three aunts, Betty Clawson, Mulberry; Pearl Beasley, Attica and Edda VanLaere, Lafayette; an uncle, Arthur (Sharon) Stewart, Independence; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Arrison and Brayden Booe.
Friends may call at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Chris Yazel officiating.
