Kenneth Virgil Campbell Jr., 76, of Clinton, passed away Dec. 9 2017, at home surrounded by his family. Born Feb. 24, 1941, in Terre Haute, to the late Kenneth Virgil Campbell Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Poore) Campbell.
He served in the Army National Guard in the 438th Chemical Co. He retired from Pillsbury Corporation in Terre Haute. He then went on to deliver papers for the Tribune Star for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Mary; and stepdaughter, Susan Schwartz.
He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Campbell; two sons, Kenneth Virgil III (Penny) of Brazil and Kevin Thomas (Mary) of St. Bernice; one stepdaughter, Terry Cottom of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Alvin Campbell (Jeaneen) of St. Cloud, Fla.; and one sister, Mickie Davis (Paul) of Terre Haute.
Kenny graduated from Honey Creek High School in 1959. He liked tinkering in his shop and blacksmithing. He owned Skylark Amusement Rentals.
Visitation will be at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th St., Terre Haute, on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon with the service beginning at 12 noon. Mark Grayless will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the family for future expenses. Online condolences may be made at:
