CLINTON - John J. Vorek, 57, of Clinton, died Nov. 17, 2017, at IU Health University Hospital, in Indianapolis. He was born Jan. 6, 1960, in Clinton, to Ronald Vorek and Sharon Giacherio Vorek.
He was a printer. He was a 1977 graduate of Clinton High School.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lori Vorek; his father, Ronald Vorek; and his brother, Chip Vorek.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Vorek of Clinton; two daughters, Lindsay and Jordan Goodman of Clinton, and Carlie and Andrew Zamani of Clinton; one granddaughter, Abigale Zamani; twin grandchildren, on their way; one sister, Gayla and Dan Dailey of Linton; sister-in-law, Teri and Tom Brantley of Baton Rouge, La.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Friday at Frist Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, with Marta Adubato officiating. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the school lunch/backpack program. John was very concerned that no child should ever go hungry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
