John Tyrone McDaniel John Tyrone McDaniel "Ty," 54, of Terre Haute, passed away Dec. 20, 2018. He was born in Terre Haute, to John McDaniel and Roberta Sue (Cravis) McDaniel.
John enjoyed working infield at the Indianapolis 500. He enjoyed being at the dirt track watching the races, watching football, fishing, mushroom hunting, and listening to Blackberry Smoke. John worked at Sony DADC for many years. He enjoyed working on washers and dryers on the side. He loved life. John never knew a stranger, had many friends, and will be missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Eric Patton Jr.; and brother, Rob Lamb.
John is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginnie" McDaniel; children, Crystal Young (Michael), Eric Patton (Kerry Brunt-Meloon), and Jennifer McDaniel-Uhl (Stephen); grandchildren, Christopher Conder, Mariah Young, Jalin Patton, Lathyn Patton, Silas Gage, Ava Patton, Kinley Patton, Liam Brady, Quinn Uhl, and Ellie Uhl; sister, Rolanda Dinkel; brothers and sisters-in-law, Shelly and Wayne Gilbert, Ronnie Holbrook, Carl Holbrook; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at 1 p.m.in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., Terre Haute, Ind., 47804. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, from 12 noon until service time. Contact online at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com

John words is not enough to express how much you will be missed. You've always been a special friend to me and my family. Always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need day or night.
Never a bad word to anyone no matter what. You are truly one of a kind. They literally broke the mold when they made you. I LOVE YOU DEARLY!!!
