Jerry Hudson, 75, of Farmersburg, passed away on Feb. 1, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Sullivan County, on Feb. 4, 1942, to Gilbert Hudson and Catherine (Davis) Hudson.
He was a 1960 graduate of Hymera High School, became a farmer and had driven a truck for Larr Trucking for 48 years.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbra (Crist) Hudson, whom he married on Aug. 5, 1962; sons, Paul Hudson and his girlfriend Loree Roberts of West Terre Haute, Jeff (Karen) Hudson of Terre Haute, Denver (Laura) Hudson of Terre Haute, David Hudson and his fiancée Marly Hardy of Pendleton; brothers, Chic (Elaine) Hudson of Jasonville, Bob (Val) Hudson of Arizona and Bill (Debra) Hudson of Bloomfield; several grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at Holmes Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Norm Santus officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 12 noon until time of services. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery, Farmersburg.
