Jerry Wayne Barbour Jr., 45, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 19, 1972, in Terre Haute, to Jerry and Wanda Sue (Daniel) Barbour.
Jerry is survived by his parents of Terre Haute; children, Jerry Wayne Barbour III and Nathaniel Alan Barbour; a brother, Chad Lee Barbour; special nephews, Christopher James Morson and Rory Finn Barbour; and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Barbour; brother, Drew Barbour; maternal grandparents, Ivan Curtis and Fern Daniel; and paternal grandparents, John and Verna Barbour.
Jerry was a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Terre Haute. He attended Ball State University. He worked as a Union Bricklayer for many years. An avid outdoorsman, Jerry loved fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting. Jerry developed a love of baseball when he was a child playing in Little League Baseball. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Roselawn Funeral Home. Per Jerry's wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at:
