WEST UNION, Ill. Jay A. Greenlee, 47, of West Union, passed away at 5:05 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind., following an extended illness. He was born Feb. 2, 1970, in Terre Haute, the son of Harry and Sharon Wilson Greenlee.
Jay is survived by his parents of West Union; a brother, John (Lora) Greenlee of Martinsville; two sisters, Angie Greenlee of West Union and Sherry (Dustin) Waller of Marshall; and three nephews, Trenton Daugherty, Bill Waller and Alex Waller.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent Troy Greenlee; and his grandparents, Maybelle and Earl Wilson, and Cleta and Clarence Greenlee.
He loved being in the woods and he enjoyed mushroom hunting and cutting wood.
Services in honor of his life will be 11 a.m. CDT Friday at Pearce Funeral Home, in Marshall, with Pastor Joe Irwin officiating. Burial will be in the Livingston Cemetery.
